Trip to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum
A free trip to the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway. For Scots, Robert Burns is roughly equivalent to Taras Shevchenko for Ukrainians: a national poet and one of the country’s key cultural figures. During the trip, participants will visit the museum and Burns Cottage, as well as have the opportunity to see the Poet’s Path, Alloway Kirk, and the Brig o’ Doon. A guided tour will be organized for part of the group. Transportation from Glasgow to the museum and back is provided and free of charge for all participants.
