AUGB Glasgow will take part in the Human Rights Festival this December with a special screening of Echoes of Chornobyl.
The event will form part of AUGB Glasgow’s wider cultural programme, using film as a way to explore Ukrainian experiences, memory and human rights through documentary storytelling.
The screening is planned for 11 December and will bring together members of the Ukrainian community, partners and wider audiences interested in Ukraine, culture and human rights.
For AUGB Glasgow, participation in the festival is an opportunity to bring Ukrainian perspectives into a broader public conversation and to use cinema as a space for reflection, discussion and cultural exchange.
The event will also continue the organisation’s growing work in film and media, following regular Film Club screenings, documentary filmmaking activities and other cultural programmes connecting Ukrainian and Scottish audiences.
Further details, including partners, registration and donation information, will be announced closer to the event.
